Fredric Gerome Allen Sr. was born to Willie and Thelma Allen on April 17, 1965 in Paterson, New Jersey. He was the second child of the three born
to his parents.

He was educated in the Paterson Public School System at Dale Avenue, School #21, Eastside High School and Share time at Passaic County Tech.

He was skilled in the professional field of Auto Body, Construction, Truck driving, and various other home improvement services.

Early in his youth, he joined the New Christian Missionary Baptist Church where he served actively in the youth choir and Sunday school.

Freddy also known as" Big Fred" enjoyed spending time with his Family, Fishing, Spontaneous trips, Live music, Cooking and Sports. He was a fun, loving, and an encouraging person.

He would be a coach, cheerleader and photographer to his children and nieces and nephews all in one.

His faith in God sustained him through his years of failing health. He knew he needed the Lord and he was determined to keep the faith until the sudden end of his life on earth.

God sounded his trumpet for his angel to come home on Monday, February 10, 2014. Fredric Gerome Allen Sr. peacefully departed to his heavenly home at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ.

He was preceded in death by his big brother, William "Toot" Allen and best friend, Leon Houston.

I am because he was, that’s why he is so important to me.
